About Me

Who am i?

My name is Aaron Tambour, i'm a photographer from the Katlodeeche First Nations in Hay River, Northwest Territories Canada. I enjoy taking photos of pretty much anything i see that i think would make for a nice photo. I like traveling when i can, hiking, camping, fishing, off-roading pretty much anything where i can take my camera with me. Photography wasn't something i ever expected to happen to me, it kinda just sorta walked into my life and i enjoy it. I spent a lot of time in my youth drawing and painting and entertaining myself with art. I taught myself to draw native art with ink and spent time perfecting it. Art has always been a huge part of my life and still is today. No matter the type of art it will always be a huge interest to me.

I am fairly new to photography and am still learning, i like learning all i can and i try to practice my skill in different types of photography and not just limit myself to one style.

Every time i shoot i feel like i gain more experience and knowledge and i take what i learned and use it towards my next photoshoot. I am self taught, everything that i learned about photography to date is from what i read in books, on the internet and watched on videos but mostly because of getting out to shooting.

With that being said i would like to thank you for taking the time to visit my site and i hope you enjoy what you see in my photos and work.

Mahsi and have a nice day.
